Is it just me or is Kael character completly Different from season 1. Did the authors or something like make his character worse?

how can you see a change in the prince after 1 chapter? I think he stayed true to character and broke it off with Rosie unstead of dragging the engagment on even more longer.

Sometimes characters in stories regress in development and i can see how thats sorta happening to the prince, like regressing him making him a less better option for fans to ship with mc later on, and to make the ml look more justifiable and appealin
@BobTheDestroyer well thats because its obvs hes gunna end up with Carsen sadly dispite what he has already done to Maythan. Have to 'bring' him up, and the others down.
