Nah, it will not happen. The pace is too slow so I will spoil it for you(well base on the novel though). Another attack will come which will destroy half of the crystal, which will kill the king along the mages and the coup will succeed without resistance.

And by the way the crystal? It is a World destroying tool, created by gods, which is stolen and given by the 3 failure subordinate gods who isekaied the protagonist, in order to destroy the world so that they can hide the "failed world" from the higher gods and creator g**. Basically the world the protagonist was isekaied is a failed world created by the three subordinate gods(who isekaied the protag) in order to gain divinity(by faith). Not knowinglly, they messed up pretty bad making the world unstable by creating curse. Creating a "World" must be reported to the g** of creation, but those 3 hid their creation. The g** supervising the 3 subordinate gods, who also supporting a greater g**(there are many greater gods) gave them the crystal in order to destroy that  failed world so that the creator g** and the others will not know about the cursed world. 

The end of the novel is heartbreaking. The Curse g**(Protagonist) will die. Yeah, he will die at the end

@Chidez Honestly it just seems all around pointless to continue reading if MC is just going to 😵. Like he literally only knows of that forest, the animals/bugs and now the demihumans. Doesn't know the native tongue, hasn't attempted to venture outside the forest and is still clueless about the fact that he has an overwhelming amount of magic. If the story doesn't expand on his life outside the forest i feel like all the time I spent waiting for chapter releases after this long. It'll just seem like I wasted so much of my life with anticipation for what's next. Not like it'll be the 1st time I've wasted so much of my life but still.
