I just really dislike people like Kyle. avoidant, unableto protect others, quite selfish really. I might be the only one here, but I prefer dealing with someone like Mathias, who's motivations are clear.

@Chottomatte! Are you okay in the head? This is a teenage boy. He isn't unable to protect others or unavoidant, he was being pressured by literal adults so he was unable to leave. You aren't only talking about a fictional character here now when you say that.

@Chottomatte! people need to understand that while Kyle isn’t a bad person—but he’s not being fair either.
He says he loves Leila, yet he ignores her boundaries, pressures her, and ultimately fails to protect her when it matters most. Love isn’t just feelings—it’s choosing someone in actions, especially when things get difficult.
If he couldn’t stand up to his family, then he shouldn’t have kept pulling her closer. And if he truly wanted her, he should’ve been ready to defend her properly.
In the end, he didn’t just “love her deeply”—he put her in a position where she got hurt because he couldn’t take a clear stand.
