Let’s talk about this so-called “reality check” nonsense some of y'all are drooling over, because honestly, it’s fcking ridiculous and disturbing. The idea that Juhyeok deserves to be left or abandoned just for asking for the bare minimum to survive is a perfect example of how shallow and biased some readers are. Juhyeok isn’t asking for luxury, indulgence, or some power trip—he’s literally trying to keep himself FUNCTIONING. He’s got an international judo match coming up, he’ll be away for a long time, and his body has been compromised for years by Su Ah’s pheromone interference—a situation he NEVER asked for, never CONSENTED to, and barely controls. Yet somehow, people spin this as him “using” Su Ah, making him his “c** machine,” or “getting the most” of the situation. What exactly is he getting? Control? Nope. Comfort? No. Power? Fvck no. He’s dealing with dependence, shame, constant anxiety, and the terrifying weight of knowing his stability is in SOMEONE ELSE'S hands. That’s trauma and survival, not cunning or exploitation. And Su Ah still has full AGENCY. He’s not chained, drugged, or forced—he stays because he WANTS to. Yet these ignorant, alpha-centric biased readers worship the Alpha as some tragic martyr while demonizing the Omega for existing in a body hijacked by that very same Alpha's obsession. That’s not critical reading—it’s a shallow fanfic thinking, erasing Juhyeok’s humanity and reducing his struggle to a plot device. If you’re only seeing the Alpha’s “pathetic” moments while ignoring the Omega’s ongoing vulnerability, congratulations—you’re cherry-picking moments to fit a power fantasy and missing the full scope of the story.

@Blvynx I couldn't have said it better.
@Blvynx thank you!!! People got so mad when I brought it up but you put it so well.
@Alligator Gyrator They're just refusing to acknowledge the whole situation because they're too focused on their obsession for their so-called green flag alpha, overlooking the whole da** context and narrative. I'm so sick and tired of these types of ignorant readers. Gosh.
