Zhenya and Taekjoo continue staying on the island for a while and develop like some really weird bond. Taekjoo starts seeing (I'm not sure if it's a hallucination or not, it's really ambigious) Zhenya as a child and bonds with child Zhenya.  Zhenya's family is calling for Taekjoo to be executed and in a ruthless manner. Zhenya declines and tells them that if they kill Taekjoo, he'll bomb the Kremlin. They send people after Taekjoo while Zhenya is on the mainland and Zhenya almost doesn't get there in time. Together, Taekjoo and Zhenya kill everyone. Zhenya's sister shows up later and breaks Taekjoo out of the haze he's in and helps him escape by leaving some of her nitroglycerin pills behind. Taekjoo escapes after bombing the mansion and Zhenya almost dies. Taekjoo returns to South Korea only to discover that his superiors have labelled him a traitor and are using his mother (she's in the hospital) as bait to lure then kill him. Taekjoo knows his superiors are corrupt and are allied with North Korea. He gets a hold of a friend to help and Zhenya turns up at the hospital and they manage to escape from the helicopter police but in really rough shape. Zhenya almost dies from blood loss and Taekjoo manages to patch him up and decides to if Zhenya's going to be a clingy barnacle, he might as well use him. Taekjoo manages to prove his innocence, get his superiors arrested, and realizes that since Zhenya doesn't know how to be normal  (you find out why in the side stories IIRC) Taekjoo's going to train him. The side stories are ridiculously cute (minus the whole sh** that Zhenya's childhood and what Zhenya's family did).
