I can’t believe we lost Vinter like this pepe stickerWell the next chapter is very interesting, so a spoiler
Spoiler!
As she teleported she didn't hear the last words Vinter murmured. In the space left behind, purple rose petals fell. Penelope arrives back at the shop and feels out of order. She thinks Yvonne is too terrifying to be a final boss and that she's the only one who wants to fight her. She wonders what it was like for Vinter who had to blow up a place he loved with his own hands. Even though she was furious for Vinter who had been helplessly defeated by Yvonne, Penelope calmed herself. It didn't make any difference that she no longer had both pieces. As Yvonne said, there are more hostages than she thought.

If she had taken both pieces without a crack they still wouldn't have a solution. She sighs heavily. Vinter bound by the magic circle was self inflicted.In the past he loved Yvonne and helped her. In repent for his sin he turned back time. Now that he has recovered his memories he has committed the taboo again, ready to turn back time if she fails to defeat Yvonne and save the world. His voice telling her she will turn back time forever lingers in her ears. She decides to go back to Callisto as it's imperative that they know what she just heard. She walks out onto the street and looks for a wagon. She thinks that she'll need to wait awhile.
I like to post spoilers for the stories I find interesting because I don't have much time to read novel due to busy schedule you will find me in most romantic historical manhwa comment sections

@Introvert  So
Spoiler!
The streets are empty except for a few people. She wonders how long she'll have to wait at the mouth of the alley for a wagon. In the distance a wagon slowly enters into the street. She moves to call it but is disappointed to see it's a noble carriage. She thinks she needs to get back before the maids make breakfast. The wagon she thought would pass her by stops in front of her. She steps back and hides the wand behind her back. Eclise stepped out of the carriage. The wound on his forehead looks pretty bad. She wonders how he's here but quickly shuts up. It was Yvonne who came here first so it was obvious Penelope didn't know she'd attack Vinter. He reaches out to her and tells her to ride. She looks around the street for knights but there is no one. Instead, men wearing masks appear to prevent her from running away. She asks Eclise was it not enough for him to be beaten by her once. He tells her that it hurt a lot and he suffered from it festering. She wonders if he was hit that badly, would he not wake up. She sighs as he hasn't changed since that time. She asks why he's so crazy and he tells her he's crazy about her.
@Introvert  Then
Spoiler!
She thinks because of her wrong choice there doesn't seem to be an end to their relationship.When she didn't make any movement to get on the wagon he tells her he has the maid and children in a voice that was nothing short of intimating. She asks him if he's betraying her and serving Yvonne. But he corrects her by saying it's protection not betrayal. She tells him if it was Yvonne, she would send an army or a monster to kill her. She tells him that she knows Leyla kill only wizards so how can she trust his words. Eclise has made a deal with Yvonne. If Penelope comes back with the piece, she and no one around her will be hurt as he knows she's kind and would be sad if anyone dies. He tells her it doesn't matter if she doesn't believe it as he just needs to take her.
