Maxi is really an amazing lady, tries her best despite having low self-esteem and low self confidence due to past traumas caused by her family and of hubby Riftan not being supportive to her being a mage because of his overprotectiveness. She's too selfless and always tries to help others to the point that she neglects her health and safety.
I know I should celebrate the end of this chapter as a win but...

I read the novel and there will be really sad news after the scene above.
She will almost die due to overusing her mana to make that huge rock fall on the monsters that were attacking Ethelene castle. She also miscarries her baby that she didn't even know she was pregnant of and almost bleeds to death..
