I’ve always found it weird how heteronormative q*r books are becoming. Like is it only me that hates the term top and bottom (uke and seme get free pass bcoz they’re actually have background). Even in some yuri, they always had to be the taller or more masculine or gender neutral one. (I liked murmur for that but I’m never a fan of excess s*t) Even online, when people argue about sexual positions in ships I always wondered if it really matters. Q*r books are q*r books are heterosexual books are heterosexual books, these authors should know that by now!

I’m prolly not doing anything interesting so yea just got together with @namjoon_7th_child

@Danaremos i think this problem is more prominent in yuri they make the woman act like a man totally. I always had a problem with this thing like even irl wlw relations people asks stuff like whos the man in relationship .thats just so stupid

@serenex yes… that’s one of the man reasons Im so skeptical about yuris (it’s either very obvious fetish for male gazes or heteronormative stuff)And I hate that some bls are written without actual concern for gay dudes (it’s fucked)they lean more to the female gaze and it’s an ick most times (that’s one of the reasons child gay p*n was popular in those days because smaller males are easier to place in those given roles and women to relate with)

@serenex I hate that term the man in the relationship the women in the relationship
The top the bottom
It clearly shows what you’re thinking about when you read the story

@Danaremos yess i swear gay people are not angry about it enough.in yaois there are so many weird tropes also the fact how much sA and grape is common in yaois like when i 1st got into it i was so shocked also most them being written by straight women does not help much

@serenex well in early Japan that was your best shot in finding love or finding out you’re gay in the first place. Some authors wrote upon their experiences and romanticised Ig because at the end, he loves me, doesn’t he?. No one would tell you they were gay or liked guys, they may go as far as drug you and confess then r*e you and if you’re lucky, the person will decide to date you. People spinned this early problem into a kink and it’s so sad.

@serenex it still goes on till now that I’m most of the SA manhwas , they usually keep it under wraps and don’t report coz ifyou report, you’re going to jail after being publicly embarrassed

@Danaremos woah you did some deep dive into it.i hope the authors knew this stuff rather than writing r*pe slop just cause it sells
