So let me get this straight... Baal's great masterplan all along was just becoming the Demon King himself by seducing Shura and waiting for an opportunity to sell her a sob story, so she'll just grant him that authority? What the h*l was he recruiting all those collaborators for, then? He could have done this mostly alone. Iruma being a human is also just something that fell into his lap, he used it to his advantage, but didn't initially account for it. If Sullivan had not taken Iruma to the netherworld, how long would Ball now be waiting for the next best opportunity that may never come?
Also, what about Shura's attendants? Where are they? What have they been doing all this time? Even if they never saw through Baal, you'd assume they'd somehow intervene after seeing their princess has developed an unhealthy obsession with a guy from a lower species. Not to mention that Shura being a princess must mean there's a king or queen above her that they should be reporting this to. Even if her species thinks whatever about demons and the netherworld, wouldn't her parents care who she develops a crush on?

@Thebel i think Baal plan to incite chaos and disorder by bringing demons to origin is the plan. What he needs is authority and power to do that. That's why he approached the princess to gain political support. What we did not expect is how unpredictable that princess is. By giving the Demon King authority to Baal, he has already achieve his goals.
