I think this is unrealistic; an award-winning novelist who also analyzes people can´t tell that he is a player is kinda weird. Also, a romantic novelist so how do you write when you don't know the basics? It is okay to be an introvert and lack social skills, but making the FL oblivious is wronging her character and her novel achievements.
