The only reason this work gets any kind of attention is because there are barely any manga where a cheating girlfriend or wife get a hefty dose of karma for it. Works where a cheating husband gets is, is basically the entirety of Josei, but wife, no.

So we have this. The karma scenes are cathartic (at least they were in the novel) but the rest of the story... The MC gets the world circling around it because he is the MC. Even the mother of the cheating girlfriend disowns her daughter because she cheated on her high-school boyfriend? Really?

The problem is that the work is no longer a story but a wish-fulfilment fantasy. I mean most of manga is, but normally is better hidden.

Did you actually read it or are you just pretending? Aono isn't planning on taking revenge, nor does he even try to at any point; what happens to Miyuki is simply the consequence of her own actions. Miyuki's mother didn't disown her just because she broke up with her high school boyfriend. Read it properly and learn how to interpret a text. Her mother disowned her because her own marriage was destroyed by infidelity, and now she sees her daughter doing the exact same thing because they ended up at the police station and Miyuki kept lying even when confronted with irrefutable evidence. She was disowned because she stabbed a childhood friend in the back whose family had helped hers immensely for years. If you want to complain, find a valid reason, but don't go making stuff up. I could spend more time refuting this, but it's just not worth it; it's exhausting seeing so many people in the comments reading with their eyes shut.

@João Paulo Lopes de fant I read it sometime ago, so I don't remember many details. But my point still stands: it is an unrealistic wish fulfilment fantasy. Probably written by a young adult who was bullied and/or cheated on in high-school and is coping. Not all of it is bad and, like I said, having bad people facing consequences is nice due to the lack of this specific genre in manga. But let's not pretend is a very good work because surely is not.
