@Thisistheway well true, they both practically prepared for others to break up with them..
But with before chapters.. Aimi is the type that will questions and ask for confirmation or seek for the answer, and Kaeda is the type that answer sincerely and straightforward.. Plus last chapter they said they're trying to improve themselves with their own pace in their own way.
