And i think if i remember correctly he impregnates her without her consent and she runs away from him because of how much she loathes him. he later finds her and she falls horribly sick during war condition (?). Matthias forces kyle to give layla heavy dosage medication despite the huge risk of her miscarrying. but he says he doesnt care bcz he just wants to keep layla with himself. over there i think if im not wrong in her sick daze she calls out kyle and Uncle instead of matthias while he stood and watched.
