Also, if you genuinely think a "colonizer x colonized" dynamic could never be accepted or celebrated in media, I suggest you take a look at the movie RRR. It became a massive global phenomenon, swept awards, and had everyone obsessed with its music and dance numbers, all while centering its entire plot around British-colonized India.
People are entirely capable of separating historical backdrops and intense power dynamics in fiction from real-world atrocities. Reading a dark or messy trope in a manhwa doesn't mean someone is trying to "normalize" real-world slavery. It's fiction, not a political manifesto.
