it looks like Jade was one of the people that came up with the plan of framing the MC of corrupting the slaves and build an evil empire
maybe Jade was part of an organization (Silver Sages i think) that wanted to completely rule the world with all other races and the weak as slaves, so that Empire shouldn't exist and they came up with some excuse based on their Faith to destroy them
