@Niklaus Mikaelson She is not weak per se but due to the program being around for so long and many not showing progress immediately, their expectations and respect diminished over time. It is a special program driven by potential, not direct ability to assess and with professors who only wants immeduate / instant progress they rather the "$$" funding to go elsewhere, like their pocket or their program.
This is not far from reality. Look at today's youth sports, you have to shovel tons of $$s and have to show quick progress for potential funding to continue or have to be rich. It is ugly but reality.
