My thoughts on this.
To the readers: you guys are so double standards. Like I have read some work where the older men taking a lady in their 20 as lovers. And the comments will go. The men is pdf, it is the men's fault. Even if the girl wants it, he should have rejected. The girl is the victim. The men taking advantage of the girls situation bla bla...
But then when I read this, there's a lot of people mock the guy, which is understandable but no one tried to defends him and rarely mocking the mom (insult is more likely towards him) like maybe he have financial issues. Maybe he growing up in abusive house and the mom was using this to manipulate him, and he, who barely knows love got confused by that.
If it were a women, the 1st thing people will theorize is that the old man must have manipulated the girl. What makes you think that can't happened to men?
Look, I'm in no way saying he isn't wrong. But the double standards is upsetting.
Critics to the mom: don't be a pdf. Grow up, you already in about to expired. Make Ur life more meaningful.
Critics to the man: please don't taste the expired milk. Also focus on your life and being independent. Don't do something so stupid as to fall in love with a rich mommy that could back fire later.
Critics to MC : what they did is wrong. That doesn't give you the right to having an affair with Ur mother's lover.
