2....the father explained "ALPHAS BODIES GROW massively so they are able to protect their mate" cut to MC looking at his tiny, zero muscular body. 
-- the MLs body grew, so that means he has a mate. 
So either MCs body should've also grow and be muscular, or he is not MLs mate since he hasn't grow.
