It was hinted that Allen was "de-aged" but Lavi as well? That explain also the easy friendship between the two, the eye-patch on Lavi's eye and why Allen, who was supposed to be the host for a Noah, has an Innocence.
It still doesn't explain why Allen became the host for Neah and what is Neah's plan (maybe a way to save Mana from his destiny to become the Millennium Earl? It failed, by the way)
It deserves a new re-read from the beginning, since the chapters are released once every three months, if we are lucky.
