@Don't Mind Me if you think about it isn't just the empress's doing since they stole her powers they just used it to brainwash the emperor and the brother someway or another?

@Bubble tea that is possible but I think they're not strong enough for that and the emperess only wants the power to make her daughter look legitimate.
