@iamamistake . It's hard to treat every child the same when each of them needs something different. The fact is that people tend to treat strangers better than their closest ones. I personally come from a family where children are treated unequally, but at my house "there was a reason" (my younger sister's illness). It is obvious that children will not understand unequal treatment anyway, and this is reflected in later life. Unfortunately, not everyone grows up to be a parent and then unhappy people grow out of it
