@nyA okayy my third attempt to write this off. according to the real historical era,during these period of time the women had irregular and unstable menstrual, blood leaks can be comparable to us during our5th-7th day. they almost never had immense amount of blood leaking like our 2nd-3rd day bcs of their poor lifestyle and health condition(most of them are low in iron intake) thus the reason of their irregular period. the women also wear nothing inside to cover the blood but layers of undergarments and gowns. in camellia/lius cases,i think maybe she never really had heavy period or just put up with just a thin layer of undergarments/clothes inside.
