Leyla was breaking down... and the only thing she could do is to beg the duke.. so then he asked her to sleep with him in return.. poor leyla did... for her uncle... and she become his mistress cz he was blackmailing her...he broke her...she become weak and sad.. dirty and she felt like she will never live away from him ( he never let her go away) she HAAATEED HIIMM... now he is falling mooore and mooore for her ( when in the bdtime...he is more affectionate and warm and a very different person) (the scenes are actually beautiful in the novel) there is so many emotions... kyle returned and she told him she will never be with him because now she feels guilty and dirty and everything (literally the girl is destroyed)
