So we saw seunghyun smash minwoo's phone on the ground and smashing it IN THE RAIN NO LESS meaning that minwoo would NOT have his phone on him to
1. Answer the phone call from this supposed mystery person
And
2. Would explain why they said "oh we can't figure out who is was 'cuz the phone fell in the river yaddy yadda"
WHEN HE DIDNT HAVE HIS PHONE IN THE FIRST PLACE
My take is the following: seunghyun threatened minwoo with either physical violence or the video (or both) and then told minwoo to go to the river to "discuss further"
where he then pushed him off hoping to end him
Minwoo wouldn't want to tell them the truth in fear of it affecting the MC
That or he had wire tapped minwoo's phone a while ago to monitor the MC's conversations
Or the author messed up and forgot that the phone was smashed (that would be dissapointing)
