@im a wh*** for this nope. Ignis left orders to let the ex mercenary (escort of the duke, chained in the prison) escape. If he went directly back to the duke, he'd be his downfall cause he'd be killed by the duke, most likely. If he went far away, he' d probably survive. It seems he wants to join again his former mercenaries companions
