In truth, this is just another case of that guy ruining his own life. Every incident happened because he himself was to weak. If he had stood up to Anchul and closed the door, if he hadn't acted like a complete wimp... if he had actually started training and gotten some muscles... In the end, even though some bad things happened to him... ultmatelly he himself was the one mainly to blame. Even as his first love got beaten up, he didn't report it. Yes, she didn't report it because she was scared, but instead of becoming angry enough to attack the guy that hurt Jinsol... he whiped up the blood because he was a coward.

You know, i was also angry to see him not stand up even once for himself and for the people who were precious to him. His best friend didn't deserve it, his first love didn't deserve it, but you know what, he didn't deserve it either. Yes he had people who stood up for him and yes he should have stood up for them in return, perhaps that is why misfortune befell him and he lost the people that he did not deserve.
But do you really think that this just means *all* the fault was his? I mean yes, he was at fault, he definitely was, but of course the biggest fault in the end lies in those bullies! Who gave them the right to control people's lives like that!? Who gave them the right to forever ruin two people's dreams!?
Im Seulgi (I'm sorry if the spelling and the name is incorrect) didn't deserve to be humiliated for the only thing that he cared most about in his life, the only thing that gave him strength! Na Jinsol didn't deserve to be disabled forever and to lose her one and only dream that she always worked so hard for! And the MC didn't deserve to be traumatized enough to develop a stutter and to get a bullying record in his report card that clearly should have gone to someone else, that also took away from him a decent future that he clearly could have had because he was at least good at studying.
And who do you think took all that away from them!? Yes, the MC was to blame, 'if only he wasn't a coward and closed the door', 'if only he distanced himself from her knowing she would only get hurt if she stays with him', 'if only he didn't betray his best friend and stood up for him', 'if only he just learned to fight!' then all of this could have been prevented :(
But what about 'if only the bullies were not emotionless monsters for once', 'if only they didn't bully a boy to point he lost all hope', 'if only they didn't bully someone enough to traumatize them for life', 'if only they didn't beat someone to the point they became disabled', 'if only they didn't misuse all that strength for such an unreasonable and inhuman thing!?'.
Do you really think that he just ruined his own life!? That the bullies had no part in it!? Then do you think Im Seulgi and Na Jinsol ruined their own life too huh!? I mean you could just say, 'hey, Na Jinsol should have learnt to fight or something instead of being stuck in books all day! Maybe then she would have been able to avoid his slap. She did want to become a police officer after all.' (I mean you did say the MC should have learnt to fight, then why not her too?) 'Im Seulgi too! Why did he not just learn to fight, when he could do it so easily now?'. Oh wait, he actually *did* learn to fight mma didn't he? But he couldn't do anything with it in the first life now could he? Learning to fight does not just solve the problem you know. Proper direction is needed to actually be able to put it into action and achieve something.
Well i have ranted enough so I'll stop here for now, but i do hope that you realise how insensitive and shallow you sound right now. You almost sound like the bullies, who would also use the same excuse to shift all the blame towards their victims. Though of course I am sure you are not actually like that, at least I hope you aren't. Even if you are, i hope you learn something and change your ways for once.
But that aside, even if my tone may have come out as rude, i really didn't mean it that way. In fact I am quite happy to be discussing this with you :) It's always fun to share your views on a story that you like and hear other's as well. It really gives a new outlook to the story. So if you, and anyone else has differing views than mine or even similar, please share :D I hope you are having a nice day bye-bye!
it's funny to see when people actually giving someone legit advices not to play into the victim card and start blaming everyone else as if that someone themself bear no responsibility at all, they get called a "victim blamer".
No surprise why so many people nowadays are both weak to bullies and bullying the weak. They never changed who they are and now they just vent their frustration onto someone else because their bullies did that to them and the cycle repeat.
