@DreamCodex I think that the revelation of the identity of the black figure will ruin the story.
If it's his older/whatever form of himself who regressed, it will just introduce many plotholes into the story.
Even if you say that it's some other character from the future, it would still introduce problems to the story(Odin possibly?)
Don't know, but so far it doesn't seem like the revelation itself will be good at all.
Either to read it without any expectations so there is less disappointment or to wait for more chapters and look up comments from others who are more invested.
