If u closely observe ML's small reactions,he seems to love naho as well .I mean it looks like he's jealous that naho made new friends,in a chapter when they were talking sh!t about naho ,his fingers twitched.ML is trying to suppress his emotions it seems.I don't think he likes his friends especially that brat blondie,he is being fake around them.Based on my experience with mangas i even think he is a closeted yandere n loves naho like crazy.He only regards Aoi as a best friend but not love him.
