i dont understand how gender plays a role into accepting your fated name partner. if history was changed to have fated namers and they were revered to be more than the nameless, i would think free love would be the norm. sure, some people would have preferences, but i doubt it'd be enough to cause an issue where it ends up in a news article. bcuz it'd be like, you were loved by the universe and were given a fated lover. and that would be so much more than anything else.

while the nameless be looking at them like they crazy or something lol

anyways, i guess that'd be my opinion in worldbuilding
