@Elaina You’re right that they were victims too, but you’re missing the timing here. She literally just found out the truth—not even a day has passed. You can’t expect someone to erase a lifetime of pain in a few minutes just because she suddenly knows they were cursed. That’s not realistic healing.
Yes, she will eventually understand their regret and accept their love, but it won’t happen instantly. If the story rushes through this part, all the raw emotion and depth gets lost. The beauty of this arc is that healing, forgiveness, and rebuilding bonds take time—that’s what makes it powerful.
