I was reading all of the translator’s note in every chapter and noticed how attached he/she is with Minho. Here’s my take on your opinion so first of all MINHO IS NOT NICE AT ALL. He is a misogynist, egotistical, foul-mouthed, selfish, ambitious, has superiority complex, hot-tempered, and irresponsible. Those were the reasons of his downfall and he was caught by the karma. He didn’t even love Duna as a person but he just loves the idea of being a superior to Duna. I get that there is care also but he was feeling inferior about everything that’s why he felt envious and not contented. YES, it was really UNFORTUNATE that he got tangled to those sadistic mfs and I agree that I really felt bad about what happened to him too. Yet, it’s not that he’s entirely not to blame for his downfall in career and lifestyle. I remember that his friend asked him for help about his worries becoming a father so he asked for a part-time thru connection but he only accepted the offer with a little bit of bragging on the side, saying he works with a bigshot company when he still didn’t even finish it and spent all the money he had on designer clothes that’s why he ended up at Duna’s place (knowing how she is a sad!st). That friend asked him for help and not the other three bigshot friends because he treated Minho like a real friend and helped him as much as he could, even if he doesn’t have much to begin with. It’s a little frustrating that the translator said so much but didn’t acknowledge as to why Minho is in a mess.
I’M ALSO NOT SAYING THAT DUNA AND WOOKYUNG IS PARDONED, I ACTUALLY HATE THEM BOTH TO BITS. FVCKING SLÜTS 🙄

minho was dumb for all that but like the author is already portraying him as a bad character so why would the translator bring him down more when theres duna who is being portrayed as good even though she sucks. Just because its mostly his fault for where he is now doesnt mean the translator should talk abt how messed up the things that are happeneing to him are
Without being said, Duna is not portrayed as a good character. All of them have their own scars, hence their characteristics. But as I would like to point out is that as much as Duna have experiences, Minho also have his fair share and same goes for Duna's mistakes and nasty things she does, Minho also had it as well. The translator was trying to portay that Minho is all so innocent and sympathetic all the time. Why don't he/she make her own story with those opinion that she got if she can't totally agree with how the author wrote it? For me, the author wrote this story well since it's really realistic for a fictional story. You can see the depth of every character, not just the sadistic contents and ra**/non consensual parts. The story is more to that if people could think outside the box
@megumimariamorow thanks I've been trying to point this out in almost every chapter, this story is realistic and that's why there are no saints or demons just fuc*** up people who have fuc*** up lives and fu** eachother. Doona is actively sexually abusing Minho, Minho on the other hand is a verbal and somewhat physical abuser with a big ego, cha working is yet another sexual abuser and manipulator , gyercin is prideful and has a shi*** personality and lastly heasol is clinging onto Doona aswell ( more emotional abuse) lying and acting inoscent when he needs to and acts like sh** when he wants to at the same time he is also a manipulator

With all due respect, I respect the author and the translator. And I do agree that Minho was not innocent too, I could say that If I were a character in this manhwa and have been affiliated to him I would have also HATED his guts.
Duna was also not good, even other characters, the author and the translator pointed it out so many times its nothing to hide anymore. We all know Duna is also a dipshit. I wish the story and the characters were well-written instead of being in a "Literary critic gets his karma by s** addicts" Manhwa.
Honestly, after reading this I know wookyungs true personality and his dark side, I suppose author tried to make him into one of those yandere psychos?? I also hate him for actively brutalizing and r4ping Minho 24/7 and saying that he deserves it. HE DOES NOT.
Duna was right in chap 47 (or whatever that chap is, I dont recall) She does like seeing Minho's like ruined but she doesnt try to actively destroy it unlike wookyung, but ofc. Duna isnt much better to say the least. Minho would go insane if he stayed with her much longer.
Anyways, this is my opinion and people have diff persepectives of characters / manhwas, so please respect my opinion here! :))

@Fa3tal That's what I mean when I say Minho is not all that nice because he was not a good bf or even a friend of Duna but he still doesn't deserve everything he experienced from both sad!sts (Wookyung and Duna). As much as we really don't like the ra** scenes and toxicity, there's no denying that these things really exist and the author just used it on their story. It hurts to read but yeah, people should really accept that there are stories like this. That's why I advice everyone to read the genre, synopsis, and some reviews before diving into reading stories. BUT I really reallyyy agree with both your opinions 💗
