story is toxic, but they will heal eachother. They both were abused for being gay and it messed them up. One was drinking himself into the grave and the other drugged and drowned himself in debochery to keep the demons at bay. So much self loathing.

He had no one on his side. the childhood friend betrayed him, even though he said he loved him and stuck by him, he became as depraved and how he was being treated, if only to defend himself from his father without denying who he was... drunk baby, agreeed he was a sinner and lied to stay with the teacher... I think that was a more toxic relationship
