@Kuraiken I mean, to be fair to both of our arguments, Amane's situation is clearly being softcored by the writer. They obviously want to show Amane as a victim of past bullying to explain his current mindset, but simultaneously are too scared to portray real bullying. I'm simply going off of the writer's intent and calling it "bullying".
Even applying your stance, the "teasing" still feels weird to me. Whether you consider his height or not, Amane has a face that would incite jealousy rather than mockery. Maybe if the writer made the teasing originate from jealousy, they would have no choice but to show some real bullying....
