@Star He had his moment of dominance when he was practically r*ping her on their wedding night. Richard literally wants to be dominated, that's the whole premise of this story. So, why would you be curious if Richard will be dominant?
@HYUNAAA Can't exactly blame them, honestly. I dont want this story to be him turning into a rapist again and violating her so we have seen him dominant before.
@R that's not dominance? That was basically possession, and obviously r*pe. I'm not saying he needs to be doing that. And I do enjoy submissive Richard. I'm just curious if it ever comes to terms of him being a dominant a few times.
@Star I think he is having flashes of being dominant in some ways, but it's subtle at times. He's topping from the bottom to get what he wants. Manipulating situations so Cortney will react the way he wants her to. he did a lot of it early on, I think he's learning to let go as much as she's learning to be in control. He's used to being in complete control of everyone around him and there's the pressure and expectations that he will be. That must be exhausting. So refusing to is a way of rebelling and exerting control. Letting someone else be in control would feel like freedom. He's letting her take the reins as she grows more confident and will push against him, but what's happening is mainly things that he wants to happen, or that he'll put up with because they mean so much to her. Like her taking on so much work, doing her duty and working gives her a sense of self worth and respect, it is something she takes pride in and is willing to fight for. Him taking that away would be a breaking point. It'll be interesting to see how far he's willing to submit to what she wants.
@otterlyanylitical ngl that makes alot of sense. I don't blame him for wanting to just get out of reality from being the crowned prince. She def doing much more to try to keep up with the reputation, Spoiler-------- next chapter I thought he would snap but turns out he just wants the love lol ofc he does, love him for that f
