@Vawulence Rabies is a deadly virus spread to people from the saliva of infected animals like dogs or monkeys etc. The rabies virus is usually transmitted through bites. 

Rabies primarily attacks the human nervous system, leading to inflammation of the brain and spinal cord, and ultimately, death.

As the disease progresses, it can manifest as two forms: furious rabies, characterized by hyperactivity, hydrophobia, and hallucinations, or paralytic rabies, where paralysis gradually sets in, leading to coma. Once symptoms appear, rabies is almost always fatal, with death typically resulting from respiratory failure

There's still no cure even now.. it's a scary disease

@Vawulence   it really is, the main problem is that even the current modern medicine cannot cure rabies, it can prevent it but it can't cure it.

It's quite hard to cure rn cause rabies targets the immune system as in the nervous system connected to our brain. There's no medicine, remedy or surgery that can cure it. Hope medicine is able to advance and cure it eventually
