Comment on ChapterI Was Just An Ordinary Lady - Chapter 226
Honestly from the beginning I like it but the more I read it the more I realise she becoming selfish, I mean they are a foreign guest, to make peace and alliance, but all she sees is the prince attention in the guest, he's a prince, and it's his duty to entertain the guest to make them comfortable and not start another war.. And there's more she was engage to the prince, she has to be matured because all the nobles and commoner are watching her. It will affect her and mostly the imperial family image.

@LighttheSTARS think in her shoes, if your husband stays away from you for a while and the msgs he sends in days are only paragraphs on paragraphs of this one guy, would you be jealous? If that happened to me, I'd think that he was gay.
@Pebble In my opinion, the prince just wanted to let his fiancée know that he has a new friend who is around their age. She and him also has their circle of friends, so the prince probably wants her to accept this new friend as well. Also, why is the female lead taking out her anger on the guest? If there’s someone at fault for the kidnapping, it’s the old nobles’ faction, not the new nobles and she knows that. The female lead should also try to build an alliance with the new nobles, since they could become her allies when she becomes empress.
@LighttheSTARS what I'm saying is to see in her perspective, not in 3rd person. /lh
@LighttheSTARS Truthly, Finea's brothers actually were more selfish about her relationship than her. It was cute at first, protective brotherly love towards their sister, trying to get between the two of them... then, it simply began just them purposeful sabotaging any cute moments between her and the prince. Not even letting her kiss, hug or even seat beside her own fiance at times.

And then, Felix has the nerve to kiss Finea's friend and tell her that she can't even kiss her own fiance.

If anyone was being selfish, it was her brothers.
@Kade It was their very overprotective previous actions that caused Finea to slowly become more and more insecure about her relationship with the crown prince. It may not have been truly their intentions to do so to Finea, it still caused emotional complications for both her and the Crown prince.

It's already bad enough that the person her fiance had befriended is a prince from the same rival kingdom, who tried to kidnap them back then. And he spends more alone time with her fiance without constant interruptions, than she does.

So, imagine, how she must have felt.

She's chosen to become his future bride and she's constantly being told (by her brothers, through their overwhelming and protective actions) that it's unacceptable for her and her fiance to be as loving and as close to one another.

So, they had unknowingly caused Finea and her fiance to feel anxious and jealous because of their feelings for one another.
@Kade If her brothers had been more understanding and allowed the two of them to be a little closer to one another than they are now.... this whole event would've never happened.

She still would have been wary of a rival kingdom's prince visiting the kingdom and befriending her fiance. But her reaction would have milder.
