It didnt seem like he really cared for the demon that was murdered but i guess he did.

@Twinky it's not about the demon it the fact he was lied to used and betrayed by someone he thought was a friend yes did he care a little the demon yes but he does not seem like a person who give in rage just for that no you can tell their other feelings and emotions Mix into that
