I loathe the whole shtick of 'misunderstanding' bi*** he full on said he loves you, at this point someone just accepting the confession would be unique. ML is actually great for once but the MC retains the trope of idiocy

@Kazooie it's fine as long as they don't push it too hard then I don't mind it at all!
@Kazooie This is nothing compared to "I Parry Everything" so it's 1000x easier to tolerate for me. Still, it's another trope that irks me too.
@Kazooie Just so you know, for future references I guess, this isn't just a trope to facilitate the writing of the romance, but also a tool authors know perfectly well frustrates the readers. And they knowingly use it to that effect, because a smooth sailing story is just plain and boring. There are actually many little tricks to foster frustration and later relieve it. (same formula as buildup/payoff really)
