Comment on ChapterThe Closet Fan Princess - Chapter 36
I think you're all forgetting about what the original princess did to Raymond. Did you forget how she harassed and threatened everyone and anyone that dared to like Raymond? How she used to stalk him and force him to be her fiance?

Sure, the princess now is a different person but that information is only known to us, readers and the person herself. Raymond and all the others have no idea of said thing, and still believes the princess is the same princess she was before mc started possessing her body.

Yes, it's quite hypocritical for Raymond to be regretting his past actions after showing clear hatred towards it before but it makes sense he'd hate that kind of attention from Agnes. Because of her, he wasn't able to see his mother's face before she passes. Because of her, he was never able to say goodbye to his important family member. If that were me, not only would I hate Agnes; I'd even go out of my way to fuc**** beat the sh** out of her.

Now, if you're trying to justify original Agnes's actions by saying ’she was just a kid, back then’ Raymond was a kid, too. He was a kid that could've been able to see his mother one last time, if it wasn't for Agnes. So it's valid for Raymond to ignore and avoid her, it's valid for Raymond to hate her.

And also, about his realisation for liking Agnes. I think, Raymond have always likes Agnes since they were kids. It makes perfect sense of you think about it, they were childhood sweethearts and wherever the other were; the other one would always follow behind. In my perspective, the only reason he acknowledged those feelings only after sh*** happen is because he was given the space to.

He was so used to Agnes following him around, tugging him wherever she pleases and selfishly caring only about her needs that he couldn't even comprehend the idea of an Agnes that isn't obsessed with him.

@Baek Eunyung  After mc transmigrated into the novel, she tries her best to make it obvious that she doesn't have any lingering feelings towards Raymond anymore. Of course, just like everyone else; Raymond doesn't believe her. I mean how could they? For years, the princess had been pining and pining for her crush and suddenly she doesn't like him anymore??? The most rational thought would be that original Agnes went crazy than actually falling out of love for Raymond.

And so for those chapters whereas mc tries to stay away from Raymond and find ways to spend time with Kyle, Raymond had been living in anxiety, wondering when Agnes would start doing the things she once did to Raymond again. He was so focused on thinking of ways to avoid Agnes, he wasn't able to actually take the time and think about his feelings.

Until, Agnes got into that accident. The day she was bedridden for a while, Raymond; for the first time, was actually able to take the time and think about his feelings. And he did.

It's not that Raymond is a delusional son of a bi*** for realising his feelings only after Agnes gives up, it's that; on the day Agnes 'loses' her memories of Raymond, Raymond was able to free away from his anxieties of original Agnes's obsession and finally think of himself. Finally think about his feelings and his emotions which he tossed away other than hatred directed to Agnes because he was so wallowed in his suffering that he couldn't properly organise his emotions.

I don't ship Raymond with mc nor do I see any ounce of chemistry between them at all. I do agree and hope that one day, Raymond can move on from his regrets and forget those sugar coated memories of original kid Agnes.

But hey, let's at least be open to different perspectives and think about it. Is Raymond really the guy, we should be hating on?
@Baek Eunyung While you do make a valid point, remember that it was Raymonds father that was pushing him to accept her invite that day because he wanted to be part of the royal family...So its kinda unfair for you to just pin the blame on her...
@Shadow Yeah, but if you think about it who sent that invitation?

Considering Raymond's actions and harsh words before the current chapters, he probably acted the same way as he did to original Agnes before mc possesses her body.

So that begs the question, is original Agnes just so fuc**** dumb to notice that Raymond clearly hates her or is she js feigning ignorance towards it?

Another thing, Agnes has always took advantage of her status. She was able to stalk Raymond freely because of her position as the princess. No one would ever actually defend against her nor deny her wishes.

Agnes sent that invitation to Raymond, knowing da** well he had no rights to reject it.

@Baek Eunyung You're right, what you said is true. It can be frustrating sometimes to see the hate comments directed at Raymond, as if he's committed some huge crime. Yes, there are mistakes that shouldn't be justified, especially if it means hurting someone. But in Raymond's situation, where his own mother became one of the victims of the circumstances and the reason why he hates the princess, I think his actions are justified. Sometimes, when we are deeply hurt by situations, we don't realize that we're also hurting others in return, and I understand why Raymond did what he did. I don't ship Raymond and the MC either, but Raymond doesn't deserve the hate he's getting.
@MELODY Exactly.

I don't care what kind of age people who are reading this manhwa, but hey; I think we're all here are at the age where we're perfectly capable of rational thoughts, if we're reading this kind of stories.

So let's put our thinking caps on and for once think, ”Is Raymond really all that bad?”

And please, let's not suddenly suffer from  selective memory loss about what the original Agnes did. Because mc may have done nothing wrong, but original Agnes sure as he** ain't innocent.

Girl can you help me with an essay making contest? You seem really good at that
@Alina_bmp No can't do, I only like writing essays for analysing characters or medias 😔
@Baek Eunyung Right, and also, if Raymond were truly bad, he wouldn’t have saved the princess and given the "holy artifact" or whatever it was to save and revive her. Honestly, I sometimes get annoyed with the princess because she didn't even thank Raymond. If it were me or anyone else in her position, I would definitely thank the person who helped and saved me from the brink of death.
