I don't think our mc ever counted on meeting the ml ever again. In that position, I too, would be irrationally hating him. It won't ever reach him and thus not do any harm. (And that is what would get me in some deep s*t just like it got the mc)
@Acc and once you've irrationally hated someone for such a long time, it's a little hard to change out of that pattern. It'll take some time, but our mc will take some time to reevaluate now that he has to work together with this guy

@Nigulu Nigula ah, that's because I want to add to it, but remember only after I've already commented. And sometimes I want to add another paragraph, so I press the enter button, and then it automatically posts it (very annoying!). And thus I reply to my own comment
@Acc i remembered I also wanted to add that I tend to also be too lazyto open the edit menu, so sometimes I reply as a means of literally adding another paragraph
@Acc yeah! and he’s clearly been traumatised by hockey, and that trauma has just been stagnant, unprocessed ever since he quit.. i think hating and blaming ian helped him cope with it.. so now that ian is back, forcing him to face the trauma head on AS WELL as being one of the factors of him quitting he’s breaking down😞
