What do you mean by ‘at least they ended up back together’? Hyung clearly abused Dae because of nothing more than the suspicions and imagination in his own head. Feeling jealous is one thing, but when it escalates into abuse, assault, and ra**, that’s undeniably wrong.

What makes it even worse is that Hyung’s so-called redemption arc lasts for only about three chaptersand even then, Dae still comes across as pathetic and foolish. After that the story proceeds as if nothing serious ever happened, with barely any real sense of remorse or consequences.

Including abuse in a fictional story isn’t necessarily a problem, but when it’s executed this poorly it would have been better not to include it at all. If the author wanted to portray Hyung as a possessive character, that’s fine. However a truly possessive person would usually do everything possible to keep their partner from leaving, not behave the way Hyung did.

I’m still reading this story because I was hoping to see some character development from both Dae and Hyung after what happened before. But after the latest chapter in the Korean version it really seems like this manhwa simply has bad writing
