@Mrs. Pear That is his husband, back when Hardy (now) was still a noble of the parco family named Rio/Lionel (then). I think this is a flash back to when they first met and Abel became obsessed with him. Back then Hardy had blue hair to match the rest of his family and was still a beta.

That explains it! I thought it was weird. Its a shame that they aren't that clear with what is a flashback and what is not
