@Steve_le u gotta also look at the bigger picture tho... no one did this to him but himself. He's the one who made the deal with a crazy person, like the saying goes. "Don't stick your D in crazy". But hes also crazy obsessed with his stepmother so there's that too which is weird af.

@Ikki_  ironically you're not considering the bigger picture. His older half sister kept sending assassins after his beloved brother. He had no power, no support, he didn't even grow up with a healthy body (neurosis) and mind (neglected and groomed).

He wanted to save his brother and went to the savage but skilled warrioress to do so. She was powerful enough to win a rebellion against his sister Iliad and former the emperor but it seems like he underestimated how obsessed she would become for him and how far she will torment him. He stated in a previous chapter "she doesnt even consult me...she's just telling me what to do." I guess he naively thought they would both be rulers rather than her seizing control of the situation...

So yeah I feel bad for him. He's survived a messed up life and unsurprisingly isn't handling it very well. I hope he escapes too but finds happiness with his brother and sister in law.
