@namnam yeah he paid the loan sharks off and the hospital bills, but Dan now owes him that money. That's why he was made to move in there free of distractions. Him doing the physical therapy, cleaning, cooking, and letting his body be used to aide the Jinx is him being made to pay back that debt. I doubt he would say all of that totalled up millions of won is paid off in this short time. Who knows.
