The last chapter, I felt a lot of similarities between how the "unqualified" seem similar to those with ASD (autism). And I felt so seen. I wasn't a fan of her wanting to fix him, but I still liked the inclusion. BUT THEN her "fix" was using magic to help with his sensory overload and it made me so happy!!!

@Heather Marie Yes as a person with adhd and on the spectrum its so nice to feel represented and i love how she helped him dealing with it instead of trying to make him "normal" i love her so much 😭😭😭😭
@Crow I've been learning to unmask recently, and it's been super rewarding to have my friends and coworkers find ways to manage my quirks instead of expecting me to conform. My bestie has learned the textures I like and will essentially mash them against my face when I'm getting annoyed/agitated about my surroundingshaha. I love her so much.

@Heather Marie more than fixing him I see this as her helping him manage, kinda like medicine, the synthoms are still there if you take the emarld away, so this is more akin to some one who has adhd or autism that take medications to manage some symthoms (I have adhd so I do know about medications forit but idk if people with autism may need some medication?)
