would it be too much if i wore a skirt and put on makeup for the first time bcs my class and the 8th graders are going to a theater? it wont be too weird, but if you feel weird yourself, then wear light makeup. make sure you're comfy in the skirt. doesnt matter what your classmates say. they'll just have to get used to your new look. SLAY YOUR LOOK!!! <3<3
also, if you're scared of them gossiping, wear knee length socks, or stockings (whichever you feel comfy in). I do this eevrytime i wear skirts. its comfy and warm and it also looks great. but honestly it depends on the skirt's length. if its above knee length, socks or stockings, if its knee length, dont wprry abot it, and lower than knee length, what are you worried about?? dont worry too much.
@Katherine it will be the first time they will see you looking different and yk different doesn't mean bad it's a good thing maybe they will love it. @Katherine how about doing makeup that makes it look like you aren't wearing any? You yourself know you're wearing some but other people may not, so you don't have to feel insecure that people may be talking about you and you feel more confidence within yourself, win win
@Aizawa.mood my spring holidays are coming so i will be practicing some basic makeup without foundation so its not gonna be that much and i planned on ordering something like thermo stocking since its gonna be cold probably and thanky youu so so much
@Katherine Don't try make up, especially given you're this young (fyi those contain endocrine disruptors) or the fact 100% girls trying to put some by themselves always mess up said first time.
Wait for highschool at least before thinking about any make up (even"just" this or that), be it health-wise or style-wise.
@Katherine For the skirt I say go ahead but prolly were long socks like aizawa said, nd for the mke up you shold definetly practise and try out some things ahead of time to see what you like and to have some practice because a lot of the times are they look messy

Not just reasonable. Health-wise, that's dangerous to expose ppl too young to cosmetics. Not only those are designed/aimed to adults (hence the product safety rules are more lenient on dangerous substances) but there's a very infamous (everywhere, everywhen, all over the world) history of make up being harmful to health.
If she's not stupid like a toddler, she'll look into what are endocrine disruptors on her own.
