I am not really liking Bai Yue. I mean.... he made it perfectly clear that he wants absolutely nothing to do with her and that he rather die to be her mate. He also told her that the no Males will ever want her .

He didn't even try to check on her when he heard news about her trying to kill herself and he never spoke up for her when she was being constantly bullied -disrespected- by the other young females in their tribe (and just let it happen.

And now, that our reincarnated FL is slowly but surely falling in with other man... he wants her back.

Now, I do understand why he came to dislike the original owner (before our FL came to their world), she was being rather pushy and wasn't respecting his decision or his personal space. She even drugged him, in the hopes that he would became her mate.

While I don't agree with her decisions to relentlessly pursue Bai Yue, I do understand why she was trying to get a mate. Their tribal laws dictate that if a female does not find a mate before a certain age... she will be kicked out of the tribe and into the dangerous wastelands, where she could be attacked and/or killed by Orcs.

The original owner should have moved on from Bai Yue when he showed no interest in having her a mate and went on to the next guy who would.

As for why the original owner fell in love with Bai Yue, it yet to be told and hopefully... we will get to see more about the original's memories in the future chapters as flashbacks.
