Tf is wrong with the author? Every single moment without fail where the mc needs to do something he fu*** up. It doesnt even serve any purpose either narrative-wise. The author just makes him trash just to be trash. Unless the mc develops his skills, his body, or both, he'll always be worse than everyone else. Yet almost 300 chapters and he never makes any attempt to so it seems the author just doesnt know how to write a proper progression and doesnt know what to do, because the mc has made no progress since the beginning of the series except for learning the basics of defense.
