I understand conflict in such cases: on one hand it's not the child's fault that he was started that way, but that child can remind you for the rest of your life, how he was started 🤔  I admire mothers, who were/are strong enough to raise and love child, despite horrible begining. Because it's definitely not a child's fault, he/she didn't asked to be started during such horrible act. But the problem with emperor is that the reason why he doesn't care and love his son is not because he was started with ra**. It's because emperor believes that prince is the same crooked person as Empress, which can't be more further away from the truth. And this is the reason why I called emperor useless, because he also as the empress can't see past his own ego. Thankfully in later chapters seme will open emperor's eyes and he'll try for the first time in all those years to actually see what kinda person his own son really is.
