@Psycho_$imp i fell you, for this kinda stories i more like the "practical love" where the fellings of love dont develop from admiration but rather from team work, in that way they can follow the romance without looking that she's holding the mc back, wich hapens in a LOT of mangas, sadly since our mc is literally a one-man army ANY kind of relation would be from admiration, the only reason i can see romance on this story is if the girl stays working for something outside the "hunter work"
